Poll Party Motivates Young Waterville Voters

Julie Bero ’08 and Felicia Teach ’07, co-presidents of the Waterville League of Young Voters, set up free pizza and live music outside the primary polls at the American Legion Hall on Tuesday to encourage young people to come to the polls.

“This is an experiment to see what we can do — what can happen,” said Justin Alfond, Maine state director of the League of Young Voters. “This is the first time in Maine.”
